Yeah, and I did like how they made Cable’s arm look like knitted together cables in Deadpool 2, and weirdly “viral” in the scene with his shirt off; which was a stark contrast to Becky’s purely bionic arm. Having said that, I think a more streamlined look for Cable going forward could involve him using the synth skin feature again. Just makes sense that he’d be able to do this. And it would make any battle damage he sustains even more stark, as it would expose his techno-organics underneath (like a Terminator). This used to happen quite a bit back in the day actually.

I think I would have enjoyed him more if he was more like he was in X-Force and Extermination. This version running around Krakoa feels too millennial to me. Like he carries little of the burden of his years in the future and the circumstances he left in his future to be such a Chad.

It's always been canon that Tyler Dayspring aka Genesis was Cable's son. The name has been used by various people (Evan Sabanur, Apocalypse's wife) but Genesis/Tyler has always been Cable's son ever since the mid 90's.

I'm interested in picking this issue up. I'm still confused as to why Wi-Fi thinks he killed Cable in X-Force when it was very clear that Rachel (with some help from Wi-Fi) altered his memories to not destroy the timeline.

I actually like young cable and think his series is fun, so I'm kinda upset that he may be getting replaced. I def don't have a problem with the old one returning though, I just wish they could both stay but that probably won't be the case.

Cheers! Really hoping we get to see Marvel’s future plans for adult Cable in next month’s solicits for July. According to one poster here, who seems to be an insider or have some inside sources (as he has accurately predicted a number of things) the plans for him are “very cool.”
