I hope he gets more interesting storylines soon that evolve the character while still keeping true to the character.

I feel like he and Beast have felt a little out of character to me.

How so, regarding Beast? I would say that what we're seeing now has its roots all the way back to Morrison's run, meaning this is the Hank of the past 20 years. Unfortunately it's been long enough that many would safely say this *is* Beast's character.

But anyway, back to Colossus!

Sadly he was mostly used and shown in the background talking to people and mingling without any real relevance.

It's sort of criminal how they're doing the bare minimum with him, but at least he got a moment to shine at the gala on twitter and people recognized how great he looks. I'll take any wins for him that we can get.

Unfortunately, that is what happens when a creator (in this case editor) openly admits to hating the character. I know I have complaining about it for years, but even if he is written by a writer who likes the character, the powers that be put the ol' kibosh on Peter.

In Percy we thrust!! The two episodes with Domino (7-8) were good, I even expect them to retake their relationship... But then, when we all expected him to fight Omega Red, it came these awful episodes when he only wants to be a paceful farmer, with a new girlfriend who suddently appeared rom nowhere and the beast treating him as a suspect of being a traitor... and all his team mates (his family) from so many years, running to see the show ... They, who know that he sacrificed his life to save the mutants from the virus of the legacy ... How could Storm, ILIANA , Cyclops or Kurt allow that show!!!! ??? I felt betrayed and frankly I completely lost insterest in X-Force... But, with this announcement, I have to admit that I can't wait to read it ... I hope it is not another "fake cover" ... Come one Benjamin do not let us, colossus fans, down!!

It's annoying that we literally just had months of Piotr being "suspect" with the whole there's a Russian mole on krakoa rounding up him and the others (and inexplicably not his sister who is also a captain who also just sort of let this happen), and now we are again getting a plot saying colossus can't be trusted. Right after we had Jean read his mind to confirm he isn't a spy.

X-writers not knowing how to use Piotr example number 2847. Sucks that he got tons of high praise and thirst over his gala look just to be relegated back to unimportant side character rehashing the same plot they just finished before the gala.

Makes you really wonder if they even bothered to consider the obvious redundancy.
