Really? I was going to skip that event guess I’ve got to buy it now
Has anyone else noticed Screenrant is publishing several Blade articles? Most are clickbait but still

My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.
Everything else is irrelevant.
I've been searching for a preview of this issue everywhere, but I can only find an unlettered preview for the Wasp issue next week.

Man, I was looking forward to another Darkhold issue this week.
To tide, you all over here is a pretty good Blade origin from Spider-Man TAS. Ignore the part about the vampire daddy. It is a kid's cartoon, after all. Deacon Frost biting his pregnant mother is the iconic origin, but other than that, I think this does a great job of summing up Blade.
The J-man
Was my first intro to Blade (along with the Ultimate Alliance game).
For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
In that new marvel studios book that just got released, apparently Feige had wanted to reboot Blade since phase 1. Ultimately Guardians of the Galaxy was picked to move forward with over the Blade reboot. Which makes sense, there were rumors about them developing a script WAY back.
Kevin Feige is a genius I have so much respect for how he's handled things at MArvel

so Blade is just normal Blade here? Okay works for me
The J-man
that's a good thing. Honestly, one of the problems with some Blade comic writers for the last 20 years is they didn't watch the films and recognize how transformative they were to Blade's character.
You can tell the writers who get Blade. They write him with that movie swag
Al Ewing, Robbie Thompson, Victor Gischler, Donny Cates, Nick Spencer, etc., etc.
oh also here's a variant cover for the Death of Doctor Strange Blade issue that comes out in December
The J-man
Throwback Toons has decided to release another full episode form the Blade 2011 anime series. this is episode 2
Love how we are getting legal full episodes of shows on Youtube now
