Throg at the end of that arc was Thor, Mjolnir and all, full size and all. So he's got the size and esoteric edge on Krypto.

Post crisis Krypto ripped Mongul's throat out once. I haven't seen much post Flash Point with him, but given the stat bump kryptonians got and the fact that he's gone from being drawn as a small beagle to a large alien wolf, I'm pretty he ain't any weaker.
