Future State: Superman books

I loved Flinstones, was neither here nor there on Prez and didn't like Snagglepuss at all. Superman vs Lex for me is similar to Prez, maybe a bit weaker.

Wonder Twins is my second favorite of his stories right behind Flintstones. It’s as subtle as a bag of bricks but hilarious nonetheless, if you liked Flintstones I’d recommend it yeah.

That book was a lot of fun. Silly, but I adore it.

Don't ask me why, but the bit in the latest issue about Superman being proud that his master plan had so many moving parts, and Lois calling him out that it's not a compliment was hilarious to me. I don't know why, maybe it was the visual, but I just found that incredibly funny.

Did another read of Superman vs Lex and felt a bit better about it so I'd put it above Prez. I'm still somewhat disappointed by second and third issues, but fist one was so good that it just carries entire mini for me. I guess it is time to try Wonder Twins.

I just finished all of Future State and Action 2021 Annual. So Kara is alive in Action 2021 Annual but gone in Future State House of El? So I assume Action 2021 Annual takes place before Future State Superwoman and Future State House of El takes place after Future State Superwoman?

No most are vaguely in the same timeline, but Imperious Lex was a late minute addition and doesn’t really line up with the rest. A vague timeline would probably be (from first to last chronologically):

Batman/Superman
Superman of Metropolis
Suicide Squad
Superwoman
Worlds of War
Superman/Wonder Woman
Action 2021 Annual
House of El
Legion of Superheroes

But the Future State is just an alternate timeline that the books have already been working to prevent as seen with Batman preventing the rise of the Magistrate over in Tynion’s Batman FYI. So don’t feel you have to read everything.
