    A one-shot book (Prestige Format) from 1992?

Yeah, I got a copy when it originally came out.

Same year as BTAS came out, which I'm guessing is not a coincidence. 1992 and 1997 seem to have been big years for Ivy.

Or Kraven the Hunter vs Cheetah. Sure, Kraven is an expert in handling animals and animal behavior. But he studies the subject so he can shoot them better. Heck one of his costumes was an actual lion pelt... that he'd killed and skinned himself(IIRC). Oh wait.. one version of Cheetah(Priscilla Rich) did that too(at least the wearing animal hide part, not sure about how she got it). Not Barbara Minerva though. Barbara had pet Cheetahs as accomplices sometimes.

An interesting pitch for an Ivy redemptive arc

However people in the comment section prefer Ivy to stay as a villain.

The Queen Ivy plot is teased in the latest Batman (same issue that introduces The Gardener).

What's confusing is Ivy is also currently playing a role in the Catwoman book, which has no connection to Queen Ivy whatsoever, so it needs to be seen how it all fits together.

The current Batman is set a month or two after A-Day. How much time passed in Catwoman?

Giving me Harley Quinn season 1 vibes when Scarecrow captured her.

In Man-bat book, Scarecrow with the help of the Magistrate is capturing other villains and conducting experiments on them.

From the last two pages of Batman: The Long Halloween #5 (April 1997):

TLH Ivy design was the first time they started depicting her as more plant than human. It may also be one of the reasons they may exclude her from the upcoming TLH two-parter animated movie adaptation as it may not be the look they'd want to go with for her in the rebooted universe.

I like The Long Halloween Ivy design as something of a late-game mutation for her or if she ever became Avatar of the Green. She looks a bit elemental in a rad way.

Love Ivy. I hope they've got some great plans for her other than just being Harley Quinn's girlfriend.

Well, they changed Catwoman's look so I don't think they're adverse to changing designs to some extent for adaptions.
