Btw, without getting into spoilers, Ivy's appearance in Catwoman #31 puts together more pieces to the puzzle. And yes, Swamp Thing, Catwoman and the upcoming Queen Ivy arc are all interconnected. As may be an upcoming Harley and Ivy title teased by DC creators in an interview about the ongoing Round Robin competition on the DC Universe forums.

Also shows off a seductive Ivy mugshot .

Sounds like Ivy has a lot going on in the DCU .

I have a feeling Ram V is going to be involved in a lot of things at DC in the future, he’s setting up Bat-family story arcs with Queen Ivy and is in the backups for Justice League. Not to mention the recent Lian Harper reveal after Roy has recently returned.

I love this story and the adaptation. The animation looks sleek, kind of reminds me of Archer.

Her look is very much perfect in this. I love that they have a lot of leaves in her hair as a nod to the book, but kept her natural red hair as well.

So what's the order? Is Swamp Thing before or after Catwoman?

It's still hazy on that front as it will make sense in either order and there's still no definite timeline given. The second book that you read, whichever that may be, will make a lot more sense to you though having read the other.

This is probably the best costume Ivy's had in the comics in years:

There you go. Queen Ivy's first look at the upcoming August event Fear State looks to be VERY "fae queen" inspired.

And she looks so good too standing beside The Gardener.

This ISN'T the big Queen Ivy event though, right, and just a precursor? Would be a major bummer if all the hype was just for her playing an also-ran in a Scarecrow story.

I think she's a faction within the overall event.

Ugh, why can't they give her her own event already?

I prefer this to the New52 one but when it comes to Ivy, I like her classic letoard look. I don't love when her costume looks to be real clothing. I prefer her as more of an elemental dressed fairy.
