Funny to learn she was a huge Lois fan growing up and even read the comics.

Dana Delaney belongs to the generation who grew up when kids' reading comic books was more nearly the rule than the exception. In 1969, when she was 13 years old, Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane sold about 400,000 copies every month. It sold more copies than Action!

Quoting Gaius looks like KSD considered doing a Lois Lane BL book. I’d be interested to see how she would approach the character.

Be interesting to compare it to what Rucka did. Probably less Renee Montoya .

Yeah, she said in another interview Lois is her favorite comics character and the only one she goes out of her way to collect stuff of.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does something but she also said she might be too big a fan of the character.

She's written her a handful of times. The last three issue arc of Supergirl before New 52 and a cute short story in the Adventures of Superman anthology series. I like the short a lot, and from what I recall the Supergirl arc is decent, but it's been a long time since I've read it.

I definitely think she would have done a much better job on Lois Lane than Rucka ended up doing. And a Black Label book would be fantastic.

Interesting premise, but I personally would've used Catherine Cobert.

As do I, or at least I wish we'd get a modern Elseworlds inspired by All-Star Superman (with Clark alive preferably) in which she did.
