Well, given her track record, she'll probably toss them midway through the movie .

Yeah, which she shouldn't have that early. Didn't she only start using weapons like that in the 1980s?

Also, why the hell is Iris West in the cast?

Matt Bomer is The Flash, while Jay Garrick is separate, so I assume the context of the film is the Barry Allen Flash recounting the history of the JSA to Iris.

Well that's confusing. It's a JSA film, Jay should be promoted as The Flash. Sounds like Barry wouldn't appear in costume, so his credit should've used his civilian name.

Are they merging Diana with the Hippolyta-as-Golden-Age-Wonder-Woman version?

In fairness, that was the standard for Hippolyta when she was in the JSA.

Slightly OT, but can anyone identify her invisible plane? In an issue of Sensational Comics, Hippolyta came to Diana's aid in an invisible Spitfire, and this one looks similar. Is it canon that she has a Spitfire? I thought it was really unsuitable, because you can't carry a passenger in a Spitfire...

I'm looking forward to this. I like the character designs from what I see.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.

I'm interested. I hope Wonder Woman is the leader of the team.

Same. I really don't get how that works with sword and shield as standard let alone how standing still bracing against incoming fire with a shield is more dynamic or exciting visually than bullets and bracelets. To say nothing of the counteroffensive options bullets and bracelets provide. I suspect WW's superspeed will be even more often forgotten the more they lean into Wonder Xena

True. Bracelets require more skilled and speed. They are far more stunning and unique visually in a fighting scene than a shield.
