Well, given her track record, she'll probably toss them midway through the movie .

Yeah, which she shouldn't have that early. Didn't she only start using weapons like that in the 1980s?

Also, why the hell is Iris West in the cast?

Matt Bomer is The Flash, while Jay Garrick is separate, so I assume the context of the film is the Barry Allen Flash recounting the history of the JSA to Iris.

Well that's confusing. It's a JSA film, Jay should be promoted as The Flash. Sounds like Barry wouldn't appear in costume, so his credit should've used his civilian name.

In fairness, that was the standard for Hippolyta when she was in the JSA.

Are they merging Diana with the Hippolyta-as-Golden-Age-Wonder-Woman version?

Agreed, looks kind of like a cheaper version of Archer.

I knew there’d be a sword and shield before I even opened the thread. Other than that, it’s a nice variation on the golden age costume.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

I'm not sold on this art style and would prefer another solo film but I'll take this I guess.

Hopefully some Golden Age or Villainy Inc villains make an appearance.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which had a similar art style, looked good.

It looks more stylized and fluid compared to Archer in my opinion.

yup i was really iffy on the stills we saw for Man of Tomorrow too, but in motion it worked a lot better than i thought.

I've posted my more general thoughts on the DC animation thread, but specifically to Wonder Woman... Great, we get Warrior Woman again and she's here to sideline the JSA. :/

I could do with Wonder Woman back on the team but I am so sick of the sword and shield.
