Maybe after Barry reset the universe in Apocalypse War he just didn't recognize anyone in their new art styles.

Yea because Man of Tomorrow and JL War 2 have the same art style.

But Steve Trevor is in this. It would be weird if they were an item in this.

Maybe Steve is just present as a wartime participant and hero?

It's definitely not Hippolyta. DC has been pushing the "immortal goddess who debuted in the WWII" narrative for a while now.

Hippolyta as WW is fairly obscure as I don't think it's ever been revisited/referenced too since.

Wonder Woman also shouldn't be a legacy title but that's neither here nor there.

Yeah, I noticed Steve Trevor and that is unfortunate. I have never been a big fan of his. In fact, when I started as a Wonder Woman collector, it started out with the Perez run.

I guess we will have to wait just a little while longer to find out....but it is fun to guess now.

WonderCon ’21: How a scrapped Wonder Woman animated series led to JUSTICE SOCIETY: WORLD WAR II
According to Lukic, the genesis of this film originally began as a Wonder Woman animated series set during WWII for the now-defunct DC Access that eventually led to this film incorporating the Justice Society.

So WB is considering a WW animated series to some extent.

This is like anti-hype cause now I know we could have had something better.

What is DC Access? Do they mean DC Universe?

Anyway, I'm happy to know that WB.DC are at least mauling over the idea of a Wonder Woman animated series. I'm also happy they scrapped the WWII-inspired animated series. I'd rather have Diana in present day.

I think considered is the best term, unless they have a new series in mind. It's definitely sucky to hear that she almost had her own series and it was taken from us.
