Superman Villains Appreciation 2021

Given the love of the Triangle Era S&L has, I’m absolutely hoping for Conduit to be one of the villains they use.

Yeah, if I were ever put on a Superman project this is the one lower-tier villains I'd bring back to put my stamp on.

Weird how he’s Hush before Hush was even a thing. Think the big two adjustments that need to be made are his background relationship with Clark (since they’ve thankfully moved away from the Byrne football background) and his powerset (Kryptonite should really just be the domain of Kryptonite Man and Lex at most). Basic idea of someone who hates Clark first is a great one however.

I'd get rid of the Krptonite connection also, I've thought maybe giving him Intergang connections. I think he also makes a decent substitute for Lex and Clark being childhood friends since that's a dynamic I don't care for.

That was an angle little times seen. Why would someone hate Clark Kent? How about this: Kenny Braverman was chosen as the one who would have the most successful life after college, Clark Kent almost didn't appear in the last yearbook. Year later, Kent is a famous reporter and Braverman isn't the success he was supposed to be. IN someway, he thinks than Kent stole the success it should be his. To that, keep the over-demanding father figure and the progressive kryptonite poisoning and maybe something can work there.
