It's a horrible art, but we all know included you, that Gambit must look like someone young, not old, and old and fat is what Tatum looks like

There are hundreds of better options for Gambit, I think that anyone who is in shape and does not look emaciated would be a better option than Tatum.


But Aaron Taylor Johnson would be a perfect Gambit, has the face and body, also acts much better than Tatum.









Beautiful with a spectacular and extremely sexy body, everything that should be gambit, and everything that is not Tatum. Hell even if Tylor Kitsh incarnated Gambit again today would be a thousand times better option than tatum.

But I insist Aaron Taylor Jhonson would be the perfect Gambit.

Has Marvel ever implied Gambit’s age is in his 20’s?

With different versions and timelines Gambit could be in his teens, 20’s, 30’s or 40’s.
His age was never an issue and nobody cared until now.

He has mentioned that he is younger than the original 5, IN CANON, and so it seems by far, he should only be a little older than Rogue, no more, and Rogue is quite a few years younger than the original 5.

Even in the 90's when Rogue was for a brief moment blind, Beast pointed out that some time ago, he and the original 5 were as carefree as Gambit and Rogue at that age.

What it tells you, yes, Gambit is someone quite young, since the original 5 is not that they are elderly.

Tatum is always in shape in his movies and Gambit will be no difference.

He called old and not handsome. And Gambit is young and handsome.

True. He was perhaps going for the opposite of all Gambit's characteristics.

But it is still hard to fit in all of Gambit's pre-X history and have him be even mid-20s. We know he married Belle when he was 19. After he was exiled, we know he built his reputation as a thief for a decent amount of time, and then worked for Sinister. The massacre didn't seem to have happened in the recent past when he met Storm. He would have taken a long time to recuperate from that gut stab and get back to normal.

So, realistically, I would say 28 minimum, probably more like 30-34. Which still isn't old by any measure.

Of course, calculating the age of any X-Man is impossible given Marvel's loose approach to time.

So Tatum is playing a 33 year old Gambit.

But there's no reason to believe he wouldn't be ripped if he played Gambit.

Well, that still meshes with younger than them. The O5 are all at least 30.
