I love Jon Snow as a fictional character as much as Gambit. But Kit's far too short. Have you seen him standing next to Sansa and Brienne?

EDIT: But he DOES have the right look. The beard, eyes, the hair...maybe CGI his height?

Yeah that is the only downside but I'm sure they can shoot round it, Hollywood did it for Tom Cruise for 30 years!

I could totally see Harrington pulling it off.

I feel like I always think of someone who could do it and then immediately forget. Recently, I've been watching the Sabrina show on Netflix and think Gavin Leatherwood (who plays Nicholas Scratch in it) would be pretty good for a younger Gambit if they were going to do a series. No idea if he could pull off the accent though.

I am all for Tatum as Gambit. Jon Snow is short and boring.

Production of this film is going to be further pushed down the calendar until the Disney deal is completed. The project only exists now to keep Fox's share prices high I reckon.

Tatum is bold. No director or new casting. March is not possible. It seems that info isbold because movie is supposed to be released in March 2020.
If they won't start on March then won't be possible to release it in 2020.

In 2017, Tatum said it will be a small scale superhero movie.
That would mean production can start in the summer and still make the March 2020 date.
