Interesting. There were some elements of this I really like, though it definitely needs some major tweaks and oversight from writers who know the source material better. I love having Essex (Sinister) as the villian that recruits Remy for the heist. When I was thinking over the story I would envision for a movie that was part of my plot. But I would change what he's stealing and from whom and probably use different characters for his team, though Moonstar and MM aren't bad actually. I wonder what the current script looks like and if the MCU will work it over some more? And cast a younger actor in the lead.

Don’t assume Gambit is dead, it was never going to make the March 2020 date anyway that Fox set. There are a lot of Untitled Marvel movies on the schedule. Just because Gambit wasn’t named don’t mean it over. Deadpool, GOTG, Captain Marvel and Ant Man wasn’t named either.

So where is Deadpool? Don’t assume Untitled Marvel is only MCU, they are all Marvel now.
The Gambit’s March 13, 2020 date was set by Fox before the merger. It was never a Disney date.

As of now, Deadpool and X-Force aren't on the calendar.

People are overreacting, the only thing Disney did was merge their schedule with the newly acquired Fox. Meaning some movies were moved to different dates and some were pushed back. This does not mean Gambit is scraped. Gambit and Deadpool are now under Marvel Studios and all the Marvel’s movies are labeled “Untitled Marvel” on the new schedule.

People just see what they want to see. Only time will tell what is really happening.

I am open for everything but don`t have any hopes.

Maybe it could be for the better. Maybe Disney could integrate Gambit on their plans were he could interact with Rogue or other characters. This could be a blessing in disguise.
