I think Hickman really lacks in creating characters with a certain tenderness, humanity, and heart. I still miss to understand what are the emotional consequences of Krakoa for most characters living on Krakoa.

Everyone kind of sounds exactly the same: "I'm a big man with so much responsibility. I will change the world with my inflated ego. I'm brilliant, calculated and powerful but I do not have emotions besides my grande penis agenda!"

So I'm looking forward to be reminded why I like Xavier.

Agreed, and as those are my favourite characters and characteristics, I’ve been feeling the loss.

I feel like that's part of the mystery. There's clearly something dark going on at the core of Krakoa and that sense of questioning is this even X character seems pervasive throughout dawn of x.

I think Hickman did a great job bringing out the character in New Mutants but he's specifically avoiding giving us insight into too many characters thoughts in X-Men. I do hope as more of the mystery is revealed we get more insight into what the characters are really feeling though.

The synopsis doesn't sound like they're using this as just not making Kurt Catholic anymore, which was my only real concern with the idea of him making his own religion.

I still cant believe DJ is on this and what a killer team Nightcrawler/Doctor Nemesis/Blink/Pixie/DJ/Loa Im hoping for Anole , Abyss , Azazel and Kiwi Black appearances. Way to kick off 2021.

I hope they explore Mark's resurrection as a human and then presumably going through Crucible to become DJ again and how that affect the depowered Academy X students.
