Uh... no. I think its for the laughs, a drunk giddy teen and Nightcrawlers no nonsense serious face. He doesn't look attracted at all. Who knows she may be the future Logan, a loudmouthed welsh girl taking to partying. Logan is only the first of course.

He turned 21 in 1980 and there is a sliding timescale so who knows?

But... Kurt was 19/20 ish when the 05 were in college, or even graduated years before ANAD. He turned 21 in 1980 and joined in GS X-Men in 1975. So he has to be younger.

I think of him as about 25 to 28, even though he was older than me when I started reading the Xmen and now I’m old enough to be his mother. I don’t see anything romantic between him and Pixie, don’t think the story will go there.

I don't think this cover is the same artist as the one that was just referenced - Camuncoli. He was the artist of only the first cover I think. His art is quite different. Same with the 2 covers before this one. I agree this / these artists would look great on interiors.

They aren't, because that would make Peter Parker in their 30's, and Marvel would rather see the Earth being hit an asteroid bigger than Texas than allowing it to happen.

Plus Spurrier had had Blindfold and Legion get together. Which has a smaller number of mutant generations between them than Pixie and Kurt would have, but it's only off by one.
