Uh... no. I think its for the laughs, a drunk giddy teen and Nightcrawlers no nonsense serious face. He doesn't look attracted at all. Who knows she may be the future Logan, a loudmouthed welsh girl taking to partying. Logan is only the first of course.
He turned 21 in 1980 and there is a sliding timescale so who knows?
I think of him as about 25 to 28, even though he was older than me when I started reading the Xmen and now I’m old enough to be his mother. I don’t see anything romantic between him and Pixie, don’t think the story will go there.
Marvel ages make my head hurt. Kurt’s too, or maybe that the booze.

Space is warped and time is bendable.
And comic timeline now has to contend with mutants potentially being resurrected to any physical age they want (mind of 30 year old, body of 18).
From the Hellfire Gala cover, I think it is a save bet that Pixie and Nemesis stay on the title as core cast.

I do wish Giuseppe Camuncoli was illustrating the interiors. His Covers are gorgeous.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Damn I was way off, I just assumed all the "classic" X-Men were in their 30s.
I don't think this cover is the same artist as the one that was just referenced - Camuncoli. He was the artist of only the first cover I think. His art is quite different. Same with the 2 covers before this one. I agree this / these artists would look great on interiors.
And as I realized this wasn't an oversized hand but a towel.

Didn't Pixie have a thing for this DJ character once?
