It's kind of fascinating that Uresei Yatsura in reverse basically was part of the concept for 80's Ameri-anime GALAXY HIGH, at least on TMS's half (It was also developed and written by Chris Columbus, then best known for writing Gremlins and Goonies, but animated by TMS) .

It's been claimed that the character design Aimee is partly based on Lum's character, or even a pallete swap in some shots.




I don't really see too much of it really. More of an mid-80s Benetar thing going on.

Gundam 45 anniversary special says there's some G Gundam project underway to celebrate it's 30th anniversary.

It's unclear what shape the project will take. If it's some form of ONA hopefully it's better than the Build fighters anniversary which was extremely meh.

The woman in the concept art has hair that kind of resembles the 'horns' of the Master Gundam from the series. So some relative of Master Asia probably makes the most sense.

New (NSFW) trailer for the live-action City Hunter movie. Looks like some of the plot is similar to the last City Hunter movie-the drugs and the link to Ryo's past as a soldier.

Are there anime, non harem or hentai, that have a relationship with three characters, as in one guy with two girlfriends, whether the ladies were involved with each other or not.

Other than the guy with three wives from Demon Hunter, the one that has the main guys sister as a demon.

There's several anime with love triangles. Heck, the big three mecha anime-Gundam, Macross, Evangelion-all have one.

Gundam-Amuro, Lalah, Char (Amuro might have a thing going on with Char's sister Sayla but that's mostly in the expanded material)

Macross-Hikaru, Misa, Minmei

Evangelion-Shinji, Rei, Asuka

Think Komi can't communicate has one in the manga but the anime isn't there yet.

My Deer Friend Nokotan
Plot Concept: Torako thought she had successfully buried a wild past to become a normal high school honors student, with none of her classmates aware of her delinquent roots. But that all changes when she discovers Nokotan, a new transfer student with antlers, tangled up in power lines and being attacked by birds! Is Nokotan an elk, a girl, or something in-between? Whatever she is, Torako may regret helping her, since Nokotan can smell the former delinquent on her. Now a punky past and a monster girl have crashed into Torako’s life in this hilarious (and chaotic) high school comedy!​

Anybody see the US release of Spy X Family Code White?

Saw it, it's mostly a sort of self-contained story but as usual with anime movies of ongoing shows it's still a fun adventure with a big animation bump from the show (although some of the CG airplane stuff iffy on the framerate). As usual the tone alternates from funny (Anya and Bond mainly, but there's a hilarious segment with Loid and Yor on a ferris wheel), to heartwarming, to some great action segments (including some slight Looney Tunes/Scooby-Doo like chase antics with Anya).

The film's first ten minutes or so pretty much perfectly sums up the characters/overall series plot, with a bit of narration, so newcomers shouldn't get lost. Yor's brother and Harry don't really get that much info but they're not in the film that often except for some funny interludes.

There is a post-credit scene, but the credits themselves are actually entertaining with Anya dancing along to the J-pop music.

The toilet humor is also notched up a bit from the show, it actually has a whole sort of one minute segment animated in a different style!
