This has got to be the most random and A-list Transformers voice cast of all time.

Definitely curious AF about it....my question is on the visual art/animation style they are going to go with.

More than Robert Stack, Leonard Nimoy, that fast-talking guy, Judd Nelson and Orson Welles?

    John Moschitta ?

I see your point although those were basically guest stars for the cartoon cast (minus them playing main characters, granted) and none of them came back for season 3 .

ILM is doing the animation for reference.

Eh, I'd rather actual voice actors over movie stars.

I thought this was a late April Fools joke.

Hemsworth as Optimus Prime? Really? They booked the wrong Chris. Hemsworth would have made more sense as someone like Jetstream.

So from the concept art looks like we've got Optimus (Orion)?, Megatron, Elita, and Bumblebee all friends on Cybertron...before it all goes to @#$%.

I'm really curious how they're going to characterize Megatron and his fall here. Tragic hero? Misunderstood prophet? A 'bot with the best of intentions who falls prey to his worst vices and need for control to become the evil megalomaniac dictator we all know and love to loathe?

I'm surprised they didn't announce VA's for Starscream or Soundwave.

I am a month late seeing this thread. I don't recall what at the end of April caused me to miss it but the thread got pushed down fast enough that I missed it not only here but seemingly on a few Entertainment threads I follow on the Socials. Very odd, anyway.

I don't thinks Alan Tudyk was a horrible Optimus on Earthspark and I was hesitant about that. Still, he does have more vocal range as he has shown in various live action roles.
Chris Hemsworth though causes some concern. Will i just hear Thor coming out of Primes faceplate?

Hope this means the end of the "Bumblebee can't talk" schtick.

    CG animation takes a while.

Amen. Well past time they moved past that. I mean, they even gave him his voice back in the closing moments of the first film only to reverse course for film 2 and everyone after that.
