Latest trailer for the new Dragon Ball Super: Superhero movie dropped. And it has a "blink and you miss it" moment in it where it shows Broly will be in the film as well.

This is shaping up to be an interesting film, from a narrative standpoint at least.

So the Japanese dub of the Netflix Cowboy Bebop will bring back the original Japanese actors for Spike and co. I've always enjoyed the English dub of the original, but this might be cool for those who watched the original audio version.

Not really. Though the trailer hints Pan will go Super Saiyan. Also, the organization depicts Vegeta in his Bad Man shirt during Trunks Saga. So, whoever the organization is (Red Ribbon since their logo is on that cup the guy is drinking from in the trailer), they are going after people they assume to be threats to Earth. Heck, even Majin Buu is shown and nobody should remember he was evil because that knowledge got wiped by Shenron.

Started this show (on Funimation) last night and found it interesting:

Plot (from Wikipedia): With the conclusion of the World War in 1945, the world is divided between two major superpowers: the Zirnitra Union in the east and the United Kingdom of Arnack in the west. With their borders set on earth, both superpowers look to space as the next frontier for expansion, sparking a space race. However, Zirnitra has a trump card in the form of Irina Luminesk, a vampire who they hope to use to use as a test subject to spearhead research into achieving the first human spaceflight. In order to ensure her training goes smoothly, the young cosmonaut candidate Lev Leps is assigned to be her handler.

Despite being the most beautiful and popular girl in her high school, Komi Shouko suffers from a crippling case of social anxiety disorder, leaving her terribly shy and unable to speak in public. Her classmate, Hitohito Tadano, an average boy who just wants to blend in and not stand out befriends Komi and decides to help her break out of her shell and achieve her goal of making 100 friends. A cute and funny slice of life show (airing on Netflix) with a heroine who reminds me of Sawako Kuronuma (Kimi no Todoke) with her dreadfully painful shyness.

Must check this out and see how it compares to the manga.

Macross Plus is getting a one-day theatrical release of it's movie version in December. Looks like maybe the first step after the rights thing got sorted out. Hopefully there's finally an HD release on home video later on.

The movie is pretty good although it cuts some stuff out like the opening battle, and adds some stuff like more of Lucy, Isamu's love interest apart from Myung and (sorta) Sharon.

OMG! I own the VHS/subtitled version, but I still don't know if there's ever been a dubbed version of this movie.

Also, will the theatrical release be subbed or dubbed?

Funny thing is, the dub for Macross Plus's OAV version had Bryan Cranston (Under a pseudonym due to Union rules I think) as Isamu.

Still hoping for a dub for the movie version, though.

My hero academia 3 expected to make between $7m to $10m this weekend in theatres. Will get 3rd or 4th place at the box office. Looks like it will beat some of the new scary movie out this weekend.

Anyone going to see this in theatres?
