Yay, this is fantastic news. I love this series. It is found family done right. What the group went through to save Chisato Nishikigi during the final episodes was both gutwrenching and heartwarming.

So Trigun Stampede had another pretty dark episode-this time focusing on Wolfwoods past but it felt like a retread of the last one except the flashback is presented as a stylized silent film.

I've really enjoyed this series so far but, yeah, the latest episode did seem unnecessary.

Romantic Killer
This show (airing on Netflix) was just goofy and funny enough to draw my interest. Anzu Hoshino has no interest in boys or romance, the three loves of her life are videogames, chocolate and her cat. One day while starting a mysterious new game Anzu got in the mail, she unleashes a mischievous wizard who deprives her of her loves and forces her into a real life otome game where she has to find love, despite her protests.

Just watched an episode of the case closed / detective conan new dub. Can't get used to the new voices. Will take some time. Also, conan sounds like a little girl! Not even a "boy who sounds like a girl" it's pretty much a full girls voice.

Also, odd they started the dub with the godzilla/ gamera spoof murder episode of all episodes.

Kind of interesting contrasting the Nagataro and Komi series as I'm watching them while Spy X Family and Gundam: Witch from Mercury are both on break. Nagataro seems to be kind of the more somewhat generic 'zany' comedy and the female lead is a bit unlikeable...while Komi seems a lot more polished animation and presentation-wise and "nicer". Also checking out Interviews with Monster Girls as I checked out the manga and it seems like a fun short series.


Is there any word on season 3 for Dragon Maid & Fire Force? I'm presuming at least FF is in production, DM of course had a long delay due to the fire. Kind of curious about Fairy Tail 100 years quest too.

Trigun Stampede's English Dub of episode 1 was uploaded on YouTube.

I thought it was fun.

Haven't seen the original in a while but Vash's goofiness is way toned down. He's still pure-hearted but the series as a whole seems way darker than I remember the original being. Millie is also written out and replaced with the extremely cynical "Robert De Niro" character, although some of her character seems to be transported to the new version of Meryl.

That's pretty much how it works in the original though. Unless the voice is so high pitched that he sounds worse than the actual girl characters at which point i can certainly understand the problem.

Hence why there is an episode with a female singer and many characters remark that Conan actualy sounds a lot like her (same voice actress), which is then used near the end when the singer is late for her concert so Conan steps in behind the courtain. Only while he has a voice like hers, he can't sing worth a damn, but it's enough to distract the audience long enough.

Though i don't know if they used a similar joke again in the like 900 episodes and 30 movies that must exist by now.

But perhaps it's for that reason they went with female voice actress in the dub this time?

Fun fact: Son Goku from Dragon Ball and it's sequel series is in the original still voiced by the same woman (Masako Nozawa) as adult who voiced his kid self in the original series.

There's a new trailer for the new City Hunter anime movie. Seems to be that the film will focus a lot on Ryo's past as a guerilla, something the anime touched on but not nearly enough as the manga.
