funny because for a while Alex couldn't do low power levels his blasts were just lethal unless you were a powerhouse, or Scott.

I am glad they solved the mystery of Alex randomly going off, I hope this closes the whole inverted/crazy Alex chapter. I am looking forward to his next chapter hopefully with Maddy and hopefully sane. I hope we can see on the page Maddy finding out how hard Alex has been fighting to bring her back because he above all sees here as her own person and not a Jean knockoff. However I found it strange how trusting he was of Emma's promise where Maddy was concerned considering how shady the Council is especially minutes after being manipulated by Sinister a member of said Council.

I think that Alex is being used to prop up the upcoming Inferno event, though I doubt that he'll play any big role in it, but I agree that I hope he's done with the whole inverted mess...

Inferno isnt an upcoming event. Its a current mini series and there's no indication that he will factor in at all. He really has little to do with the big dogs of Krakoa or the political struggles

I wasn't saying that he'd have a big to do during Inferno, I guessed that he wouldn't and that he's not really that important at all on Krakoa as most of the characters seem to have forgotten that he's even there, sadly...just hope that he's all done with the inversion mess and can move on to something better...

IIRC, it started in Peter David's X-Factor. Under Claremont, he was an all or nothing energy blaster.

He is my favorite Summers, after Rachel. So I really need them to get away the doubt and always manipulate Alex.

How is Hellions the best written X-book out right now ending but some lackluster X-books have post Inferno plans and are stripping Hellions like a car for spare parts. Kwannon to Marauders, Maddy showing up in New Mutants, WTH?

I think that its because the main writers of the X-books have their characters that they love and Alex and some of the others just aren't wanted unfortunately, I'd like to see Alex lead a team of Krakoa cast offs...

To be honest I would prefer Alex not be written by someone who has no affinity for him, that's how you get trash like his Inversion. I rather he and Maddy be off screen instead of written badly.
