The actual Gala really needs to be like a huge look book omnibus of collected vignettes that weave together the evening. Have fashion artists actually do pencils- make it super dense and immersive, a brick in the wall for the world building era. Like the Tiki Bar lounge but 1000x more intimate and fashiony.

What's so attractive about these kinds of plots? It's basically how Pixie wound up with getting her head blown off.

I swear it's like some people just don't read the solicits and just want to complain.

Considering the X-Men invited both their allies and enemies into the same space you can expect some fireworks to happen. And considering that planet size and the trial of Magneto spin out of this event you can expect it's going to be more than just a "glorified fashion show".

Like what exactly did you want to happen? ANOTHER world ending event where the hero's have to come together and beat up a generic bad guy or an event that can actually capitalize off of character interactions, history, tension, and push The Narrative forward while giving birth to new storytelling ideas while giving the X-Men some bomb ass costumes to rock for a few issues.

that has nothing to do with it as the Krakoan gates make travel a nonfactor (not to mention there is a whole team of teleporters). SWORD has some unsavory and unlikeable characters like Cortez and Mentallo whom dont have an important role in Krakoa, and I doubt they were invited
