The guy who must not be named is one of my favourite characters.... but "616 death stories" have been run and reversed so many times that I struggle to understand why any veteran fan would give a monkey's about any character being offed.
(I suppose if it is a really favourite successful character....somebody who appears month in/ month out you might be peeved at missing them for 6 months, before their "astounding" comeback???)

I imagine this contradicts a lot of stories involving Dugan over the years--I specifically remember him having a heart attack in the 80's Captain America arc that brought back Jack Monroe (the 50's Bucky).

If he's been an LMD for decades and no one's noticed, does it really matter if he's dead or continues to be a decoy? How does this impact any story ever?
