How do you know she is missing an eye? That is never shown. Her patch may be purely aesthetic and fits as its part of the signature look that defines her

The X-men are a nation now. Which means national interest will take precedence over personal grievances and beliefs.

May I say I’m really annoyed by this confusion between mutants and X-men?

Mutants are a bunch of people who were born with a difference in their DNA that gives them, at best, cool powers.
X-men are a team of people who appear to be generally mutants, but, above all, were heroes, courageous and good people. It was marginal and temporary, but they were X-men who weren’t mutants in the very long history of this team.

But, you mean maybe by “The X-men are a nation now”, that the people formerly known as “The X-men” are a part of a mutant nation and that changes their perspectives and reassesses their value scales. (I don’t have the impression that the readers have witnessed the change, just that have been faced with the “fait accompli”…)

Yeah that red getup they got him wearing is atrocious. Just because he's the Red Bishop doesn't mean he has to go all out and actually wear an all red outfit. When he accepted Kate's offer he should have done it on his own terms, namely no red outfit and being free to do whatever he feels is best. He has been reduced to being Kate's "man" and that's not a good look for him at all.

It really isn't a good look to me. He could have kept his costume he wore in his first Uncanny X-Force run.
