All the times in the Raimi Spider-Man films where Spider-Man is unmasked in costume.
This thread could run endless:
The rape in Road Warrior. We get it... they're bad guys.
Suicide Squad with its HQ/Joker table dance scene. The movie has a lot of problems but that felt unnecessary and dumb.
Birds of Prey: After he commands Zsasz to skin a family Black Mask really hammers his villain status home with forcing that lady to take off her clothes.
The lawn scene in Commando, but seamlessly CGId so Matrix's guns launch custard pies into the soldiers' faces instead of riddling them in bullets, as the original scene glorifies gun violence and spree killing.
The Joker when he realizes that everything he did with his neighbor was just in his head. Her reaction to him being in her house told you everything you needed to know. The Flash backs just made it seem like they thought the audience was too dumb to get it. Scene woulda been alot better without the recap showing she wasn't really at all those places.
You say that, but people still come out of Mission Impossible films confused, even after the makers painstakingly show you the villain ripping off their mask to reveal Simon Pegg, and then him ripping off his mask to reveal that it was Tom Cruise all along, and then his eyes glowing yellow to show that it's Mystique.
"The Mandalorian" SEASON TWO FINALE SPOILERS
- When L picks up Grogu, they should have had him smile - I mean, what kind of soulless monster doesn't smile at Baby Yoda? I know the CG made it seem like he had been Botoxed, but a little more humanity, a little less stoicism in that moment would have been really nice.
