I'm kind of surprised it's taken this long to give Damian another Robin solo. Pat Gleason's series sold well, didn't it?

But Williamson seems to really enjoy Damian as a character and a tournament arc story could be really fun, so I'm down.

Not sure how I feel about the costume. It seems like it's trying to be a Robin costume while also being not!Robin, which I guess fits Damian at this point. I can see it being a milestone moment when he puts the red and green back on.

Flashpoint Batman basically wiped the floor with 90% of the Bat Family fighting at the same time. Which was, simply put, BS.

Including Cass, which was even more ridiculous.

Williamson and Taylor are hoping for a Nightwing and Robin teamup on Twitter.

It would be nice to see them together again. The fact that we've gotten no reunion between them after everything that's happened is a crime.

I've thought there should be a normal Robin solo for a long time. It is one of DC's most well known properties and it never made sense to me not to have a ongoing Robin book. So this was needed in my opinion. Not sure what to make of the direction though. So that isn't Deathstroke on the cover? But Rose is right next to him so it has to be someone related to him, or it is Jason on the cover. Since in Future State Rose and Jason are in a relationship or something. I really hope the don't use Deathstroke at all in this series. After how obsessed Priest became with using Deathstroke and Damian together and basically wanted Deathstroke to be Damian's actual father for some reason I've had my fill of the two interacting forever.

That's pretty much the boat that I'm in. Even with Williamson writing an admittedly good Jon in Future State Justice League, Jon's just...not fun anymore. Meanwhile it sounds like Damian is about to be fun again. So keep the Superbummer away. It hurts but right now I'd rather he just stick with Maya and Colin.

This reminds me the day that I heard ROBIN, SON OF BATMAN. I saw it interesting. I hope that this serie will be as great as that serie.

Of course, it already started with Jon, the way he was turned into a pathetic joke of himself in all the versions of Supersons which exist and then relied on some external person to be his moral compass. But at least in Teen Titans he was still Damian, he still did what HE deemed best to make the world better, even if it was meant to blow in his face.

I like to see someone agree with me about Supersons. As I expected Damian was him in TT.
