    Default Calendar Man (Julian Day)

First appearance: Detective Comics #259 (September 1958)

Then, more than twenty years later, came Batman #312 (June 1979) with a return of Calendar Man committing all-new crimes (in all-new outfits, too)!

I always thought that Calendar man would have been a great villain on The Adam West Batman series. They really dropped the ball by having a guy like Shame on there and not this guy.

^^^who do you think could have played him? The Batman series pulled in a surprisingly strong group of actors for its villains.

Also, I know his look’s been updated and am okay w. that, but as a kid I always thought this costume was frikking awesome...:

To be honest I am not overly familiar with the actors of that time. At least off the top of my head. I know some actors of that day enough that if some one points one out I will know who they are. Of the ones I do know. i think George Segal could have pulled it off. I loved Bruce Dern in The Posse. So he would have been fun to see in a bit of an over the top role.

I think it would be fun to hear some ideas.

Calendar Man teamed up with Chronos, Clock King, and the Time Commander to form the Time Foes and battle the TEAM TITANS in #13-14-15 of that forgotten title of 1993.

^^^That’s a pretty intriguing choice, actually!
Right about the time Batman premiered, Segal had been nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for his role in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. So yeah that would’ve been quite a coup for the show.

Calendar Man is actually one of my favorite underrated Batman villains.

I've never really understood why fans consider him a joke (How are dates any sillier than jokes or riddles?)

Which I'm guessing was based on Detective Comics #71 (January 1943)

In 1966 Whitman came out with a BATMAN card game.
Surprisingly CALENDAR MAN makes the card set.
