Only of interest if you already read RWBY to be honest, otherwise the mythos will probably be confusing.

Why doesn't the solicit mention Jessica Cruz, who's shown on the cover?

Can't say I saw this coming.

So it sounds like it's going to be the Trinity but in the universe of RWBY, but I'm kind of surprised they're not featuring more female heroes.

Apparently it will be the New-52 line-up with Jessica.

If you like, there are eight seasons, though season 8 is on break.

No one saw this coming, its either going to be better than most people think or a trainwreck. I'll follow it though.

Wonder what sort of semblances they'll give the JL.

AKA the Rebirth lineup minus Simon Baz.

I thought the reimagined Justice League designs were cool. I'm not a big fan of RWBY anymore but I might pick it up.

I guess their semblance are gonna be their canon abilities. Or a streamlined version of them.

I'll probably give it a try. I've been a fan of RWBY since the original concept trailers, and some of the JLA Remnant adaptions look pretty cool. I guess we'll have to see how well their personalities/powers translate to the setting.

Figured we were gonna get a crossover at some point, but I had assumed it'd be Injustice DLC.

If it's your thing, it's your thing. Anime inspired urban fantasy, not too far off from certain Final Fantasy games. The first three seasons have god awful animation, and is largely a super school style story, but once it ditches the school setting and starts being made using actual animation software the show becomes significantly more watchable.

Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Cover just reminds me they don't use Simon anymore.

Its a web series inspired by various shonen anime. If that's your thing go for it.

Actually, Simon Baz will appear in the new Green Lantern comic. It seems to be using all the human Lanterns except for Hal (writer Thorne hates him, and maybe something happens to him at the end of Morrison's run anyway) and Jessica (who presumably there's plans for elsewhere?).
