Yeah that's what Feige confirmed. It works both ways though.

I've heard some folks say the first two episodes should have been twenty minutes each and that they didn't need two of them to show that something is really wrong in Wandaworld. I believe that's a legitimate gripe. I also have read that WandaVision is so obsessed with paying tribute to older American sitcoms that they have turned Wanda into "Lucy/Laura Petrie/Samantha and Vision into Ricky/Rob Petrie/Darrin and not really their own characters. A fair criticism in my view. I still have a high opinion of the show and am really enjoying it. I am really happy that Wanda and Vision are getting more time to endear themselves to audiences. But I think they can move things along too.
I was talking about reviews I've seen online.

The first two episodes were basically just over 20 minutes anyways. I don’t get the complaints... the leaning into the tv shows is heavier in the beginning and seems like it will fade as time goes on.

I agree with your analysis. I had no problem with how the show has been presented thus far. But I DO understand why some people are getting impatient. I don't think Wanda and Vision are leaving sitcom world any time soon.

No, they aren’t. We have to get to the 2000’s before that happens. Though I can see the outside world being introduced when Monica gets expelled from the bubble.

And I'm glad that they're staying there! Because the humor of later sitcoms is what really interests me. They're the shows I grew up on, so I'm looking forward to that. I actually think it's even possible Wanda gets expelled from the bubble as well. We still haven't seen Vision say "Wanda, welcome home" yet. That might happen when she returns to it. Who knows? ****'s probably gonna get even weirder at that point.

If they stick to an ERA per episode, then I guess we're looking at:

    Episode 1: 50's
    Episode 2: 60's
Episode 3: 70's -- which could include Monica's ejection and a look at what's happening beyond TV land
    Episode 4: 80's
    Episode 5: 90's
    Episode 6: 00's
    Episode 7: Flashback(??) to origin(?)
    Episode 8 & 9: Big Finale ?

Can't wait for the 90s and 00s. Hopefully Disney roasts themselves.

Ha ha are we thinking some heightened over-acting like Hannah Montana or something? lol

Remember how a few months ago I thought Dottie Jones was Lady Gaga?! The show did a good job of hiding who she was. Any thoughts on who she might be?

I'm thinking maybe one of the Salem Seven. Especially since the rabbit seems to be a Nicholas Scratch reference.
