They really should have had one scene with Wanda and Vision fighting side by side. They've actually never had a scene like that in the entire MCU (because in Infinity War Vision was stabbed before that could happen) Maybe it's one of many things they wrote for the finale but didn't have time to shoot, because of the combination of COVID delays and the release date being moved up.

Well, there was that big family posing scene but then they all split off from each other.

I guess there's always the potential with White Vision.

Yeah. Honestly they have some of the most interesting powers in the MCU, along with Dr. Strange, Ant-man & Wasp, yet barely get to show it off. Why do I want to see someone like Black Widow fight an alien army?

I doubt White Vision will come back to her in a long time, if at all

I think it's an eventuality that Wanda and White Vision will eventually meet.

Meet, yes. Reunite, not so much.

I'm actually interested to see them develop apart from one another

The bad guy should have been Chthon but that probably would require an even higher budget.

Again. And hopefully this time he doesn't try to squeeze her head like a grape. That was a bit unsettling.

I actually liked the no-villain idea. Always needing a villain is the biggest cliche of all

I know it was relatively brief and tame by Hollywood standards (re Mortal Kombat), but I cringed during that

No villain has played out too. Inner demons is a pretty common trope. Neither is necessarily unentertaining.

Saving Chthon for the later Darkhold threat where multiple heroes might be needed seems like a better idea tbh.

Really? In the MCU? When every movie seems to have a villain?

Iron man 3 was more about Tony's inner demons and was meant to be a take on Demon in a Bottle. Incredible Hulk was also about Bruce's inner struggle.

Comics themselves have had tons of hero goes bad stories.

Lol, just don't want that! It was so uneasy to watch. It made my head hurt. I got phantom pains.

But it still was about fighting a villain in the end
