Enchantress - Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinose (Succession of Witches; Love) - FFVIII
Thanks. Don't see the connection with Hawkman and Hawkwoman, but would like to read about your personal interpretation lemonpeace
Starfire: just about any SZA song. SZA just overall gives me major Starfire vibes; which song depends tho. more superficially, All the Stars is an obvious choice (stars, starfire, no brainer), but basing off how I read the character, I gotta go with Doves in the Wind

well, the connection I made is with the narrative of the song. it's about Pharoah getting cheated on by his Cleopatra and then, in the second half, it pretty much alluding to them having reincarnated and he's still being cucked in a different way (as a "John", and the escort as Cleo now). obviously I'm cutting some nuance, but I always saw the song as more of a story about a man trying (unsuccessfully) to posses a wild or free-spirited woman. I grew up on JLU, with the John Stewart and the Hawks love triangle so I always saw Hawkgirl as her own character and Hawkman was just the guy who she sorta has to be with because destiny ordained that she be his. while I don't have anything against the Hawks being together, given I understand the context of their comic characters better now, I have always seen (in the back of my mind) the Hawkgirl/woman character as being shackled to Hawkman by their reincarnation cycle. so when I was listening to Pyramids earlier, it made me think of them; Hawkman as the Pharaoh/John and Hawkgirl as Cleopatra he's holding on to across space and time.
