They are reprinting the Captain Britain Omnibus in an expanded format i.e. they will now include the issues from both Captain Britain OHCs (Birth of a Legend & Siege of Camelot) and the original Omnibus with the exception of Captain America #305-306.



I'm happy to stick with the original OHCs and Omnibus as they have the faux leather covers and thick quality paper. The new Marvel Omnibuses have inferior thinner paper and cheaper hardcovers.

This is, however, fantastic news for those that missed out on the original Omnibus and more people will become aware of the original true "legacy" Captain Britain, character and all before his character assassination in the Excalibur run and the Remender Avengers and Uncanny X-Force runs.

Which combination of powerset/paraphernalia do you prefer for CB? Not costume necessarily, but the other stuff.

Standard superpowers (strength, flight, durability) only concern with the changing force-field is that it gets too similar to the green lanterns.
For me I always liked the idea that he was linked to Otherworld as his source of power and that the costume was like a battery pack charged up with power/energy when he was away from Great Britain. That Captain Britain, Otherworld and Britain were all interconnected one affecting the other as Otherworld weakens he weakens. If you have seen Syfy's Magicians, I see it similar to Fillory and magic in that show. (though this idea has gone out the window a bit after the events of X of Swords)

Thats not the same Doctor Crocodile as in the Captain Britain character who got turned into a crocodile is it?
