Same. And the really sad part is that my favorite hero doesn't really have a "ride or die" at all. He has a girlfriend...I think...but that's not always the same thing.

Ever so brief, but I thought this was the start of a beautiful friendship...

Hopefully this counts, but I've always liked Rick & "Genny"

    Top 3:

    1. Peter Parker and Matt Murdock (SPidey and DD). I will read anything with the two of them together. They relate so well together and they're both street level heroes and have a whole Batman and Nightwing vibe.

    2. Luke Cage and Danny Rand (THe Immortal Iron Fist). Best friend goals right there LOL! I have always loved their dynamic as well as their Heroes for Hire Business

    3. Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew. I love their friendship. I'm not sure what's going on with it right now with the whole King in Black but I do hope they repair it.

    1. I'm guessing Daredevil's Batman and Spider-Man's Nightwing --- purely in terms of their overall attitudes and personalities.

    2. Yeah, Luke and Danny are definitely cool together.

    3. Very much agreed.

Beat me to it. The **** they have been through and still stick together is utterly amazing.

They had stupid great chemistry; the friendship made that book for me. Once it started getting away from that it was nowhere near as good. A rare misstep by PAD though I understand he had things he wanted to explore.

My second favorite after Herc and Amadeus (well, there's always Beast and Wonder Man, but they're too obvious a choice). I absolutely LOVED this series and this partner/friendship. Too bad with Carol being force-fed down our throats as the do-all, be-all Captain Marvel, we'll never get another chance at them.

    Peace

Wonder Man and Beast is my number one. Hands down. I’d buy a monthly book just with those two, so long as the right writer got ahold of them.

I forgot how much I loved PAD’s Captain Marvel series. It was a great buddy book. Too bad Marvel seems to want everyone for forget Genis ever existed... He’s an easy character to bring back, too..

    Steve Roger and Sam Wilson.

    Daredevil and Spider-man.
