Oh it wouldn't be an immediate redemption, that is why Hellions is a great place for her to be, it is the island of misfit toys, I doubt Greycrow is getting many invites to watch the game on Krakoa, I also get the impression that Psylocke isn't that popular either since very few if any characters even know her, they know Betsy. Empath is a tool and Nanny and Orphan Maker were and still are insane. This is why I think they are keeping the stupid Alex is inverted storyline because why else would he be on this team. Maddy is "complicated" as well on most mutant teams but she is perfect in Hellions. Every character on the team is in need of but is not the type to beg for, redemption. I don't want revenge driven one note Maddy, I want Outback Maddy with a few things to atone for and bridges to be mended with her sons, Cable and Stryfe and Alex the guy that prefers her to Jean.

I think she needs to get away from all the mutant stuff and be in the 'real' world with a real job and life. And putting her on Hellions?? With Sinister around all the time?? That would be a major mistake. It in no way would allow her to emotionally heal form all the hell she was put thru all because of him.

the them both being clones thing, should at least be brought up, Cable is her child but Maddy should really appreciate/understand Stryfe's position as well and hopefully love him equally.

That story was written in...the late 90's? (I'm guessing...never read any X-Man).
We're in 2021, and when last she showed up in Hellions she was clearly focused on a more significant "love interest". And given her current status...I don't think Wells has any intention of revisiting that era, any time soon...if ever.

I have faith Wells can write a Maddy that is not just about revenge and addressing past wrongs, when he does, developing a good relationship with her kids will probably be at the top of her to do list.
