Doubt it.
This was published in Yugoslavia during the communist regime. People with no skills were granted "easy", "good-paying" jobs based on who they were related to or knew (like reviewers, for example). I bet one of the party leaders called the publisher: "Hey comrade, do you have a job for my auntie?"
Publisher: "Can she draw?"
Party member: "No, but, she's good at coloring."
Publisher: "Excellent! Tell her to report at Eks Almanah on Monday"... and the rest is history

I havnt come into the cover contest thread in a few weeks. I am glad I did this week. A lot of great entries. I really loved The New Wonder Woman. I know she gets hate but I had fun with that era. And Cap's Kooky Quartet was my all time favorite run of The Avengers

Lots of good choices this week, but I'm casting my vote for worstblogever and the rebirth of the X-Men!

I vote for seismic-2 and the many hats of Howard the Duck and the cool chapeau cameos. A nod to Attila Kiss and nearly nude Supes.
batnbreakfast because that series was sooooo good.
