With a mutant child lost in Otherworld, it’s up to the NEW MUTANTS to find and extract him…without losing themselves in the process. Meanwhile, on Krakoa: Warlock makes a friend. Wolfsbane makes a friend. Magik makes some enemies.

Mutantkind has built a new Eden...but there are serpents in this garden. Some mutants struggle to fit in. Some mutants turn to violence and death. And the children whisper of the Patchwork Man, singing in their hearts... Only one mutant senses the looming shadows. Snared by questions of death, law and love, only Nightcrawler can fight for the soul of Krakoa. Only he—and the curious crew he assembles (including fan-favorites Dr. Nemesis, Pixie, and Blink)—can help mutants defeat their inner-darkness and find a new way to live. This is the WAY OF X.

Exactly, it's laughable at this point. Now that they have switched out Storm, I get the feeling this book is for the triumvirate of Callisto, Kitty and Emma. The bait and switch of Duggan is lame at this point.

Omfg! Dauterman's Bishop is.just.too.good.to.be.true! Indeed super sad that he hasn't done a thing for years...

Can we please get a Dauterman drawn comic of Jean and Bishop finally realizing that they are in LOVE?!?

Great looking cover but... damn. This story about the missing children is still going on in April!? Hopefully the reveal this last issue about who is behind it goes someplace. As others have said, I think Duggan may have been building towards this all the way back to his Uncanny Avengers run.

And I’ll just add that “a reckoning draws ever closer” sure sounds to me like that poster who claimed that OG Cable was returning and this book ending with issue #12 might have been onto something... just saying. Fingers crossed! Bring back my silver-haired grizzled badass Cable, Duggan! You know you want to! You wrote him so well in your UA run. Best Cable in a long, long time.

What If... The relaunch it as team-up comic, between Cable and OG Cable?

Weird concept, but I'd take that in a heartbeat. Just want me other favorite character back. This kid ain't him... I mean, he is. But he's not.

Just compare how the two performed in their respective X-force runs.

Though thematically it's interesting. Given that both were Morlocks and Marrow as kid liked Thornn, but would likely have feared Feral.
Yeah, if you read Spurrier's X-Force then... well... pray for Feral.
