I mean Scarlet Witch and Vison had books but everyone was too busy throwing fits about POC lead books especially Ms marvel.

as far as the new story, I'm glad that Blade is a "man who knows things". I wonder how he will eventually expose the truth. and hopefully by the end he remembers everything that happened.

no we already have the Boys and Marvel wouldn't up end Avengers for this team. They've got Eternals coming out, Blade coming out and several follow up movies.

I'd be shocked if they did a Squadron Supreme movie before phase 5

I don't mean in the next batch of movies, but perhaps further down the road. And I don't mean an SS movie, but perhaps adding them as the villain in one of the future Disney+ productions.

From what I recall, though Marvel bought Malibu, who owned the characters, there is a catch that, though they have no actual say in how their creations are used, the creators of the characters recieve small royalties if they are used in anyway, and Marvel/Disney, doesn't seem to think it's worth using the IPs if they have to do that.

Marvel do own them, but they are still required to pay some royalties because of how the initial contracts were drawn up. Marvel only bought Malibu because 1. DC were angling to buy them and Marvel found out. So they got in first, and 2. Because Malibu had a state of the art colouring system used in creating their books which Marvel wanted.

If Marvel could use them, Joey Q would have done so almost 20 years ago. It was one of his goals as EiC. It is also one of his big regrets.

At the end of the day, I think the big issue is with Scott Rosenberg. He gets a "producers" fee when the Malibu characters are used. He may not have created the character himself, but he did oversee and set up the Ultraverse universe. Hence his "cut".

i see. I guess so. If you told me in 2008 Marvel would make a Guardians of the Galaxy movie I'd say you were crazy. If you told me in 2012 Marvel would make an Eternals movie I'd say you've lost it.
