They're also lacking counterparts for Hawkgirl, Green Arrow, and Black Canary.

I am somewhat surprised that Marvel doesn't use all of the Squadron Supreme analog characters all of the time, updating/reincarnating as necessary characters like Arcanna (Zatanna), Tom Thumb (Atom), Blue Eagle (Hawkman), Lady Lark (Black Canary), Golden/Black Archer (Green Arrow), Nuke (Firestorm), Skrullian Skrullmaster/Skymax (Martian Manhunter) and others.

If they wanted to, they could fill some of those spots using original Marvel characters. For example, Ant Man would be a perfect replacement for Atom. Monica Rambeau, or anyone with Quantum Bands easily replaces Dr. Light. Red Raven takes Hawkman's spot, and if they gave her wings back, Angela would make everyone forget all about Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman. Ditto with Songbird or Siryn as replacements for Black Canary. Solo adeptly replaces Green Arrow, right down to the political backstory and green body armor. We could go on and on and on.

Obviously, that's not what Marvel wants to do, but I'm saying it's possible.

This all sounds very good and interesting. I hope they follow through and that it is good and interesting and that the artwork is good in every panel and not just a few or the covers.
