I hope so. I mean, this Peter Parker didn't have to blame himself for failing a beloved one like his counterparts do; but his tragedy was caused by the "superjerk" of this "DCed Marvel Universe". So I think this Peter has every right to have a little payback.

The mechanics of Peter working as a Daily Bugle photographer without being Spider-Man doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the story to be honest.

And besides they changed May Parker's name. She's May Reilly Parker in the comics, in HR-Verse, she's Maybelle Parker...so this isn't butterfly effect where one thing got changed.

She is actually called Maybelle.

Peter working for the Bugle does make sense... remember, he only does so after someone dies. In the main universe, Ben dies, he needs money so he gets a job. In HR, May dies, so he drops out of college and gets a job.

Peter working for the Bugle does make sense... remember, he only does so after someone dies. In the main universe, Ben dies, he needs money so he gets a job. In HR, May dies, so he drops out of college and gets a job.

Well in 616, after Peter becomes Spider-Man he busks around for a bit and tries to make a go at it and the Jameson thing happens because he wants pictures of Spider-Man, who is a mysterious, unknown, and hard to photograph vigilante.

With Hyperion who's an establishment superhero and already a big deal for a long time, it doesn't make sense.

It just feels shoehorned in.

And thanks for telling me about this...will someone please retcon this "maybelle" nonsense because it's just lame, lol.
