Marvel actually giving Blade an event. This is impressive. I'll be checking this out for sure

I'm happy for SS fans. But I worry whether or not it truly serves their loyalty for Marvel to churn out what amounts to fan fiction shamelessly mimicking a DC event. The whole point of the SS is to show the JLA living their best life in Marvel's ecosystem. I don't know that this event accomplishes that.

Ditto, I will scoop this up for long awaited Blade action only. The bonus is that Aaron seems to really like Blade as of late.

No it is not.

An event has multiple tie ins, a mini series is usually self contained.

Is War of The Realms a mini? No because it's a event that had line wide tie ins

Tie-ins aren't required to read, mostly just read the event.

Of course there is events that are just crossovers between the books, like onslaught

Quick Thoughts

- So Jason Aaron wanted to tell a Justice League story in Marvel that is actually kinda interesting

- Marvel final realizes that Blade=Avenger's Wolverine I am here for it

-Ed McGuinness art is solid and dynamic, It won't be bad to look at

That said it as someone who is not reading the Avengers at the moment I might actually read this for the Squadron Supreme

They've been showing up in Avengers, too.
