With Yara's popularity, what can DC do to make Donna/Cassie more relevant again?

1. I think there’s room for all the Wonder characters (and more), as they all have different personalities and bring the opportunity for more perspectives in the title. (But, I’m also good with the gigantic Batfamily of characters too.)

2. I think the Wonder world could use more titles, so there’s more “room” for Donna and Cassie and Nubia and Hippolyta and Steve and Etta and Artemis and Achilles and Yara to interact with each other, Diana, and develop their adversaries, concepts, and mythos - as well as add to it.

Donna starts her life anew with an all-new Etta and Achilles in Wonder Women
Steve stars in Steve Trevor: Agent of ARGUS

They all do their things and grow as characters and dig into and expand the Wonder mythos and when Diana comes back from her current apotheosis, there’s a crossover between the titles from a new threat that then shakes up the status quo and titles and the characters recombine in new ways.

(Yeah, I know it’ll never happen, but it’s wonderful to dream.)

Is Yara Flor really popular, or is this just a case of the internet overhyping a character? Until we see how the sales of these Yara Flor projects are, can we really say that she is popular?

She's only been in 3 issues, it is too soon to say that Yara will harm Cassie's relevance.

Donna need her backstory cleaned up(back to basics, orphan saved by Wonder Woman, not any of the dumb stuff that came later).

Cassie needs to be used consistently again.

Both need to be used regularly in the Wonder Woman comics.

I suppose Cassie could get married and have children like Donna did.

But she’s already mostly known as being the female in the Bart/Kon/Tim/Cassie square. And Diana took her “child of Zeus” plot away from her.

If present day Yara will be 13/14, then have Cassie go to college. Maybe join the modern Holiday girls. Experiment with her sexuality. Give her a job outside of superheroing.

Heh, maybe have Cassie be the "voice of reason" for a new team of inexperienced heroes? It's still superhero stuff, but a different twist than simply doing things yourself.

Well she's half Amazon through the post Crisis continuity Banas. But since they weren't immortal, I'd guess considerably less Amazon in her lineage after all these generations....

Butbher being of Amazon heritage doesn't make her a Wonder character.
