Voting on new X-Men team begins tomorrow

Hope this doesn't come off as a typical message board "everything always sucks, just 'cause" post, but I'm kinda... "meh" about the line-up.
Not really against it for any particular reason, it just doesn't get me hyped. Cyke and Jean, cool. Sunfire, like the exposure for a generally underused character. Rogue, ok, sure. Polaris, same. Synch and X-23... ok, I guess. Happy there is no Logan, though. Nothing against the character, he's just always everywhere.
I guess I was hoping for something else. Dazzler, Cannonball and/or Sunspot. Magik. Banshee. Just pulling from the huge catalog of characters they have on the island.

I dunno. I'm onboard, I like Duggan and Larraz. I have faith.

Oooh, I like the cast a lot. Just change Jean's and Rogue's outfits and we're all fine.

I don't think I've ever seen Polaris with this outfit. I like it a lot.

Outstanding! I'm so happy for Synch! This is one powerhouse team.

Cyclops, Jean and Rogue are the A-listers to draw readers. Something similar can be said about Polaris who got voted in and X23, ehhh Wolverine. Synch and Sunfire are nice and unexpected additions, alo good for a bit diversity on the team.

I like the line-up.

Of course everyone would like to replace one or two by one or two of their personal favorites. Guess that will ALWAYS be so.

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’m a little disappointed. Was really, really hoping we’d see adult Cable on this squad. Having said that, cool team overall and I’ll definitely be buying and supporting the book.

That's a rather interesting team. I'm happy about Rogue. Feel bad for Gambit though.

Yeah. The solicit said that Cable wouldnt be attending the gala and his final issue was delayed, so he may be a late addition. I hope!

Also like to add that the team is decent sized at 7(maybe 8 with a surprise character joining and Xavier in a supporting role)always like a team sized from 6-8 members only and hate when writers get out of hand with their rosters and end up focusing on a character or two and the others become wall paper.

Rogue can do everything that Synch can do so he's redundant. Banshee would have been a better pick for the team with his unique powers and runner-up status.

They are not redundant. Characters are more than just their powers and the two have completely differetn personas and bring something different to the team dynamic. Writers should choose characters based on their personalities and what they can do for them, not block of others bc one member may share the same powerset. I dont expect Duggan to write Synch and Rogue similar at all. This is really a non-issue. Synch really hasnt been explored much outside the lends of Generation X so this is the chance to see his developed powers as an adult in a larger arena. Rogue is by and large a flying brick which makes her unique as the brute of the team

- Sunfire: left field but appreciated, especially for the haughty attitude
- Synch: VERY pleased to see the rainbow warrior on the main team, and they'd better show his synchronistic aura in all its multicoloured glory
- Wolverine (Laura): ...here for the Synch drama and snikting?

Shoulda kept Darwin with the new trinity. I could careless about Sunfire, has anyone ever made him interesting? Put Rogue in her green and white, her and Jean in the same color combo irks me...
