Storm's banned because she's on the Quiet Council.

I keep hearing that there's big plans for Storm, and she's going to be in space. Whether that's right or not, I really don't know (Guardians of the Galaxy?). Anyway, that may be another vacant seat on the council to add to those left empty by Jean and Apocalypse. I wonder whether we'll see those resolved at the Gala.

Yeah, DC solicits should be tomorrow and Marvel's on Thursday 22nd.

Storm is on the QC right now. We dont know what her actual status quo will be in 3 months. She was barred from the election, but that doesnt mean she cant be on the team.

That looks like Callisto yes, and Jumbo probably made her a look in line with her "Hellfire" association. I think she's keeping her one good eye on the booze rather than Banshee.

I can easily see a shake up for Marauders as well, for the moment we only know for sure Ororo is leaving. It will be interesting to see the synergies between that book and X-Men now that Duggan is writing both.

I'd love for Cable to be part of the roster but... would he want to be on the same team as his mum and dad? I don't think so.

There's no way in this day-in-age would the X-office have an all-white cast, nor a cast with each of its members premiering before the mid-80's. I think this team will be way more diverse than people think.

I have to admit when looking at teams I don't look to see who is black, who is asian, who is gay etc.

Well if Duggan wants him there (and he clearly loves writing Cable), he'll be there. I dont imagine the Stryfe plot will be wrapped up in the final 2 issues of Cable, so I suspect it will get tackled in the new X-men book and with Scott and Jean already there, it seems like a good fit for Cable. Just my guess

You're right, whatever floats your boat. I have to say, I do actually think about just that, and I was just thinking about it before I read your post. Specifically what I was thinking is that we've been given the first three members of a team of probably eight, and so far they're all white and straight.

I'm kind of wondering now whether there will be any mutants of colour, and, or LGBTQ+ mutants included, and I think there has to be representations of both of those communities. After all, this is going to be one of the highest profile books in the line and for me that representation is crucial.
