If you could revive the Omega Men

I'm a fan of the '80s space-faring sci-fi superhero teams... Those with like a few humans and a few more humanoid aliens...
Micronauts, Atari Force, Dreadstar, Starjammers...

If I were to revive the Omega Men, I would add Flint Donovan (from Star Hunters) to the team as, appropriately enough, 'Star Hunter', to be the leader.
Keep Tigorr, Broot and Doc.
Add Jack T. Chance, without a ring.
Throw in Dart from Atari Force, as DC supposedly owns her (and Blackjak).
And the totally unexpected Firehawk.

They would spend a lot of time in the Vega System, but would also visit Earth, Rann and Thanagar.

Blackfire would be a major villain, of course.

I think I would bring it back to its "Star Wars" template of a bunch of rag-tag heroes fighting an evil galactic empire but mixed with Marvel's old "Alien Legion" grittiness. Just update the concept with complicated internal clashes (which the original also had), unexpected deaths, pathos and dirty sci-fi goodness. Throw in a few established DCU concepts where it makes sense but make them freedom fighters and soldiers more than heroes.
