Will Steve Trevor be back in the third Wonder Woman movie?

Pairing her with Bats or Supes would be an even worse option than bringing back Steve a third time.

I wouldn't mind. I think a temporary silver screen pairing could make for a fun little crossover but to each their own. Although a female love interest would be my first choice, however, I think that might not go down well in China and we know how movie studios like to cater to Chinese tastes these days....

I could see a WW and SHAZAM crossover movie just not a romantic one...although ancient Greek did not have restrictions on what was love including age lol but seriously a crossover between them would be fun.

Like seriously, I see enough of women around me defining themselves by the men they are with, I don't need to see that with Wonder Woman. He shouldn't have appeared in WW84 to begin with, but honestly even before I finished watching the first WW movie, I knew he was going to return cause without Chris Pine Gal definitely couldn't carry a movie on her own.

But yea, no more Diana being hung up on Steve please. As someone else mentioned, it's an incredible disrespect to the Amazons that she's more hung up on a man she met for a few years than on returning to her home.

this is a comic book universe so anything is possible. So what do you think? In what ways could Steve Trevor be brought back, and should the writers attempt it?
Here are a few ideas.
1) Magic.
2) Flash could go back in time and grab him microseconds before his plane explodes.
3) someone looks like him from a parallel universe. (Maybe a Star Trek cross over with Chris Pine playing Captain Kirk)
4) a villain with the power of illusion impersonated him.

Steve has been great but I think he’s had his run.

Yeah I agree that seems contradictory.

Gadot isn't the greatest actress in the world, but she has a great presence and definitely isn't contributing nothing to their screen partnership. It definitely wouldn't work with Pine if she wasn't bringing something to the table.

She and Wiig likely could have carried things just fine without Pine, and will hopefully (along with whoever plays Circe, because it has to be Circe) will be able to do so for WW3

I hope they don't bring Steve back again. I would much rather they give Diana a female romantic partner in WW III, or failing that pair her with Bats or Sups (which I know would be impossible lol), or no one at all. Time for Steve-O to hit the bricks.

I can think of no greater disrespect to Diana than being paired to one of DC's poster boys especially after she spent two movies hung up on Steve.

It would have to be Bruce, too, because even DC aren't stupid enough to have Clark cheat on Lois on the silver screen. I know they resent having Superman but still.

The idea that Diana is to be paired with either of the two is indeed a great disrespect either in comics or movies etc. She would be a trophy and overshadowed by anyone of the two. She would end as supporting cast.

Superman may be mishandled on the silver screen but that doesn't negate the pull he has among some and much so the Bat. Diana has done well for herself, I wouldn't want her reduced for those two bloke. I am a Supes fan by far but even I know she deserves better than that.
