    Default Rewriting Myths for Themyscira

This thread is for us to do a little worldbuilding for Diana.

In real life, Myths do not stay the same. They grow and change to reflect the culture that they are told in.

The Amazons, being an entirely female culture, would by nature radically change the stories of the various myths.

In this thread, we'll come up with the ways they would have changed.

I know in most Wonder Woman continuities, the population of Themyscira is immortal and thus were around back in the old greek days, and would remember the versions told then. For the purposes of this thread, we'll assume that Themyscira is a society with generational change. People die, and people are born, yada yada.

What exactly do you mean? Is this about rewriting the history of the amazons? Or is about what myths like the Silver Banshee and the big foot would be integrated into amazonian mythos? Or is it something else?

Basically, take a real life myth, and imagine how the Amazons would tell that myth to each other

Well, there's a lot of them that are already used in-universe. But they don't actually focus on most of them. IIRC the 12 labors of Hercules... is part of why the Amazons live on Themiscyra.
