By the way, while both Johnny Quick and the original Liberty Belle (Libby Lawrence) seemed to eventually become connected with the Justice Society of America, isn't that a panel from back when they were both part of the All-Star Squadron, not the Justice Society of America?

Bottom right panel, is that JSA villainess Tigress? This is from the preview for Robin #1.

    Let me fix that...

"Fan's have been clamoring for a Justice Society BOOK for DECADES."

Still, I'm buying this. Not that I expect this will in any way convince DC to actually bring the JSA back, but iit looks to be a fun movie.

Shout it louder, they still haven't heard you. I will definitely be purchasing this and I will gladly give my money for an on-going title!

That's not a reassuring thought to me since Alan's section was written by Tynion.
(Definitely a writer I normally try to avoid.)

Just re-read the 1999 and 2006 series recently. Those books were so good. Even that Magog story is much better in one sitting. Man I miss these characters. I give Johns a lot of **** for his 2nd Flash run, his JL and some other more recent stuff but his JSA was top notch. IMO the best the characters have ever been written.

Well, that may be stretching it a bit.

I enjoyed the 1970's JSA run by Paul Levitz as well as the early 1990s Justice Society of America books.

IMO, it's hard to say who the best writer of the JSA was because they were being written at different times for different audiences. There was more than one strong run, but you could pretty easily be convinced the writers weren't talking about the same team in their different incarnations.
