So I guess I'm late on this. Saw Juggy is now a member of Savage Avengers and has his own series. What gives? He had a change of heart or waht.

Every handful of years they try to make Juggernaut a good guy. It never lasts.

I enjoyed his miniseries. It wasn't anything mindblowing, but the art was good and the way Cain repowered himself is interesting.

That being said, I don't think he really has much of a place in the current X-comics. He's chilled out too much.

If it were up to me, I'd make him the reluctant partner of Dr. Strange for a while. I think that would make for a fun comic.

Yes he a "good guy" now, He has been a good guy a couple times now. He has gone as far he can go as villain. Honestly he is good candidate to be a bruiser on the Avengers if the usual suspects aren't around.

Your guess is as good as mine. I have trouble keeping track of his runs as a "hero". I could've sworn that he has had a few momentary relapses.

Cain has spent more time on the side of heroes than as villain since the 2000s, I think. Between two runs on a main X-Men team (Austen and Rosenberg), Excalibur (I guess), Thunderbolts and Savage Avengers, I'm fairly sure that his longest period as villain in the past few years were those 4 or so years between recovering the gem of Cyttorak and just going like "geez, I thought I right was following Magneto, never mind that, WASSUP CYCLOPS MY MAN" and he's been good since then.

I often thought writers thought he was too powerful to be a good guy so they'd find ways to depower him. In the mini series he's been depowered again to a much lower strength level. He used to be compared to Hulk levels but not anymore.

I personally prefer Cain Marko as a hero than a villain. His whole reason for being evil "Mad at Xavier" always seem stupid to me

Imo juggernaunt has always been a guy that wanted to be good and this series is hands down the best x-mini not involving a main character in a decade. I was hoping so bad charles would let him on krakoa at the end. This was a modern character masterpiece imo and i don't use that word very oft if at all.

Cain is the only human i would stan for to get on Krakoa. Real talk.
